Hyped – What’s all this about?
It feels strange writing this – a blog post to introduce my business Hyped to the world. You can conceptualise a business all you want, but once you have to sit down and put it into words to be immortalised on the internet, suddenly words fall short.
When I – Morgan – first decided that Hyped was something I wanted to create, it was honestly because I believe that social media is a movement, and an opportunity, for everyone to express themselves in their best way. And when I say everyone, I truly mean everyone.
Mothers who want amazing, social media friendly photos of their newborns, all the way to business owners and start-ups looking to market their business in the social media sphere. For both of these people high quality, accessible photography is a must, and for businesses, these photos need to be paired with quality content that is marketed to their target audience.
It can often seem like a broad spectrum to cover in one business, particularly when I find myself trying to type it out into one blog post, but after managing social media for brands, I’ve come to realise that photography and content marketing often walk hand in hand.
It’s just lucky that I’m equally passionate about both.
Once I realised how integral both were to each other, and how little they were often packaged together, I decided to do something about it. I mean, who better to write the content for a photo than the photographer? And who better to photograph an aspiring fashion blogger, than a social media strategist who understands the trends and targeting required to get ahead in the world of social media fame?
My specific skill set seemed so uniquely geared towards helping those hoping to get ahead in the social sphere that I decided there was nothing to it but to start a business concentrated around making creative content that helps people get ahead no matter their brand, budget, goal or style – or in other words, to Hype up their image or business.

It’s exciting to know that businesses can now take a step towards effective digital content marketing, without the heavy price tag, and I hope that by now you’re all Hyped to watch us do it!
